Light itself was described as an expression of God in the bible.
Architecture-wise, light comes from the top of religious structures. We have decided to place Knotted halfway in the space to neither present god, nor us.

The cup itself is a necessary medium to communicate with God as humans, a relationship which has always been inevitably mediated.
